all the bushings on the front end were stressed and cracked
rack n power steering pump changed for some reason it was f-ed up
suspension upgraded to aspec by choice cost me a 1000 with install from them
got rid of the comptech BS
got the injector n throttle body service
new steering wheel
plugs timing belt
brake fluid flush
there were 3 anti freeze leaks from some randoms spots they said they found n are fixing the probs but the parts arent in til tuesday warranty as well
rear parking brake shoe replacement and adjustment
tie rods as well

I think I was sold a lemon...... I dont drive the piss out of it to break it and this isnt the first time some of this stuff's been worked on

ALSO for some of those 6mt owners that hear or feel a thump or a clunk in your wheel when you come out of 1st gear and you cant figure out what it is or the tech cant either.... it could be a few things but on mine it was specifically this...

the only way to find out what it is and to diagnose the problem is to drop the frame n look under the rack......

Holy cr.. Parking brake shoes on a newish car...no way, especially since there's a warning if you drive with it engaged. It sound to me like your dealer is selling you a pack of things you don't need. I'd be wary of having to replace tie rods and the plugs as well.. Was it warranty work ?

OT: love to see some shots of your interior and doors. Suede must really kick the ebony up a notch. Won't covering the roof liner have a negative effect on the side curtain air bags ?

My entire rack and pinion in my 05 6MT with 30K on it was just replaced, and it was also in for the 4th time to try and figure out what this cold suspension clicking/stressing noise is. Still havent been able to fix that, but it sounds like bushings to me as well.


It sounds like stressing/popping metal. So wierd. See my thread twoards the top of the main page right now.

dude they did 5800$ in warranty work top to bottom i paid out 801.36 for all the labor I requested...thats the acura 45000 mile service from top to bottom everything was retouched and the car is literally BRAND NEW...no joke i only drove it 40 miles yesterday and dude i am reallu impressed with acuras techs in manhattan.....ive been to a few dealers and none compare to the service level of this one....

thats good to hear. If only there was more than one acura dealer in my area. Next closest one is about 2 hours give or take....

it just came out on friday guys and i had new tires and 1 new rim delivered in time for everything to come out just right and i gotta hand it to these guys they really made the car "brand new" it never even felt like this the first day i had taken delivery.
