On a black car, I think it really matters the %. You're dealing with many different shades of black - the tires, the body of the car, the window trim, the wheel wells, etc. I like uniformity and think a black car that flows the same black looks a lot better. I'm trying to figure out what would go best to make it look like one piece and not have two different blacks.

I've had 35% all around for the last 5 1/2 years and have only had my balls broken once. Some trooper who looked like he might have been eligible for retirement in the 70's was hiding behind a thruway toll booth, checking stickers. He had me pull over and then went into the building that's at every exit and broke out the tint meter. Think it metered at like 32. I went to my LASIK doctor and had him write a script for tint and got the ticket dismissed.

lool yeah i did not noticed it till next day, since they took about 3 hours to do them and it was getting late.... the guy came in all like " mann those seals are tight as fuck" .... i was like ok?? a day later I saw what he meant....

Even the headlights came tinted 
I have 5% all around on my car and with the eyebrow on the windshield. I don't think it looks ghetto at all, but it is a bit dark at night while backing up, and especially if it's raining. Eventually I'm going to have it all redone and put 20% on since I have the lighter interior. 35% would be too light for me.

I have 20% up front and 5% in the back. I like it. You cant see a danm thing in the back. It looks clean. Dark as hell, especially at night, its almost like wearing sunglasses when you sit in the back seat....
