What's the average age of people that buy the new TL?
Just out of curiosity, I wanna see what segment of the population the Acura TL appeals to. I'm guessing mid 20's to mid 30's. I'm 26 and have my NBP/ebony/5AT Nav TL on order right now... Boy is time going by slow. My last car was a 2000 Civic SI that got stolen recently (not surprised there), and I figured it was time for me to move up a level. I guess I'm at that age where I want some luxury, but I don't wanna give up the fun of the sporty car.

I'm 23. I'm sure I round out the bottom of the demographic. (For the record I am paying for the car with my own money. Not a gift. No financial assistance of any kind -- I don't think people that are not funding the car themselves should be in the demographic.)
My guess is this is going to be an early 30's car. In the past I would have placed the TL at early 40's demographic, but this car has some sporty appeal to it which I think will bring in the younger buyers, such as myself. I would have never even considered a 03 TL-Type S, but the 04 has something about it I love.

I myself feel the TL fits into the category of: A nice compromise of luxury, performance, and price - for the individual that thinks spending anymore than this, given its use, would be hard to justify. (not to mention my ego doesn't require it)
By the way, I was driving a blue 1999 Civic Si in my late 30's - loved it. I wish I could have ordered the Si blue on the TL...
Anyway, Lets just say physically low 40's, mentally-still 30.....

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
I've owned or leased a TL over the last 10 years or so (including the Vigor), and I never considered my age to be a factor. It serves a specific need, while my younger side has a few sports cars to play with.
The multiple dupe threads others have posted on here will serve as good answers to your question.
