Hey ChrisD:

in the MID you can set "Auto Door Unlock" to Off, when you Shift to Park or when you turn the Ignition Off -- you must have it set to OFF

An option to choose between XM and Sirius would be nice. I'd rather have Sirius.

After driving in very thick fog the other night, I will add fog lights that can be used without the headlights. Don't get me wrong, the existing fog lights helped a lot and I would rather have them the way they are than have no fog lights at all, but the regular headlights cast an annoying beam into the fog that detracted from the fog lights' usefulness.

Fold down rear seats are hard to do given the necessary rigid structure.

AWD as an option is key but only if the HP can be increased to overcome the extra weight - say 300hp minimum.

MP3 would be nice

a bit extra rear seat room.

MUCH better tires and better brakes (the competition is way ahead there).

and the biggest thing to consider would be to HOLD THE PRICE WHERE IT IS - I think this car is a steal for what you get.

Small wishes...

1. AWD
2. Having the driver seat automatically move back when the door is opened to make getting in and out easier.
3. Addition of autodimming to the drivers outside mirror rather than the blue tinting.
4. Improve the voice activation system to work faster than it does now - painfully slow to respond. I can do most things manually much faster and with less distraction.
5. I agree with many posters about going to non-intrusive trunk hinges.
6. Find a good all season tire for the TL. Neither the EL42 or Michelins they've substituted have good winter traction characteristics. (A regional thing, I know)
7. Show instantanious MPG on the MID in addition to average.

I'd say tire pressure monitoring, but that will happen in 2006 by Federal requirement anyway.

Thumbs up Wish List for the future

I would love to see more power.
The G35 coupe has already pass the TL by with it 300 HP in there 6 speed.
I rented the G35 sedan for a week during training in Irvine.
This 2005 model is very fast.

So here is what I want.

325 HP in a 6 or 7 MT
Tires: 275/30/20 in the rear and 245/35/20 in the front.
I will settle for RWD over AWD.
In a cool two door.

I leave will all the TECH STUFF to the other guys.

The new 330i BMW will have over 300HP and with major torgue inprovement too.

The TL is already behind in there market in one year.

hybrid powertrain, active noise cancellation in the cabin, more reliable auto transmission. I think the accord hybrid powertrain will be a good option (minus the variable cylinder on/off to reduce vibration and noise).

- Bigger gas tank and more accurate gas gauge.
- Drop the automatic door closers
- Keep it on the trip computer on restart if that's where I left it
- Option for cloth seats

How about Acura spending two dollars for a compass. Better color choices, the TL and RL should have there own colors and not the same colors as a CIVIC.

1. Made in Japan so the car is better built.
2. Not much else, the car is good for the money.

Some of you are asking for things the RL doesn't even have and that is our "flagship"......I look to Acura to offer value and will jump ship when I am ready for real luxury.

I think the Bluetooth HFL voice should have other options besides male or female. I was thinking celebrity voices

Britney Spears
Antonio Banderas
Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribean voice)
KITT
Jackie Brown
Ed Grimley
Axle Foley
Jim Hawthorne (Voice of the LSU Tigers)

tru dat!... AWD would def be something that im hoping to see by the 07 or 08, when, i suspect, the tl-s (if it were to ever come out) would be released... OR when/ if the concept aspec is ever released with 300+ hp... AWD is most def needed.... i dont know of many cars that have as much hp as the 3gen TL that are FWD... g35-RWD, s4-AWD.. etc... so, thats what im hopin to see... and perhaps a motorized steering wheel... other than that... id say the TL is pretty well equipped.

as far as ChrisD and the auto unlocking doors, true the MID can be set to unlock them from drive to park, but I liked my older hondas where it would unlock as you pulled the interior door handle, I think that's what he was getting at, that I do miss.

Cuz when locked, if you reach for it, then you slip/stub your finger on the handle, then you unlock them, then open again.

For me, the front end of this car is 50% of what sold it, I look at this car daily and just melt in love at its looks.

Desires, fix the broken stuff, i'm happy with content. Get a AT that can handle torque.

YES!! Raining sensing wipers are already on the MDX so I don't see the big deal (even though I was more disappointed the RL doesn't have this). Auto lights should be standard on ALL Acura (except the NSX) What's the big deal to add a sensor and an Auto setting on the headhight control???

Ohh, and the Keyless Acess system would be nice. Just push the dimple on the handle, pull, turn the ignition switch and drive off.

And as I've said, where is the pwr tilt/ telescop steering wheel?

Your correct plus the RL should have some things first as it is the top model at this time.

I will say that Auto lights and Auto mirrors should have been in cards as the systems are already used in a few Acura's already. I would love to have power door closures as well as a power trunk lid, but like you said, I'm not driving an $80k BMW 745iL

Here's what I'd like to see in future TL's.

Power Tilit/Telescopic Sterring Column
Auto entry/exit system
Better integration of the HFL w/ NAVI Screen - beable to add phnoe numbers and call up an address book
More specific voice commands to find specific locations/addresses and for more radio commands
More speakers and higher end sound system
SH-AWD
Rear view camera
Both outside mirrors tilt down at same time
More presets for XM radio
More Torque

That should do for now.

AWD
standard keyless remote start
The Navi system plays DVDs automatically
panoramic sunroof
cross drilled rotors front/rear
325 hp
customizable entry when unlocking the door... Instead of driver 1 and driver 2 DOUBLE M I for driver 1 and Carmen Electra, Beyonce or Lucy Liu for driver 2
telescopic steering wheel
bigger wheel at least 18
AC/Heating controls on steering column
Standard Halo Lights
And my personal favorite passenger side ejecting seats for those annoying passengers who don't follow the riding rule...

Nice. I would love to have a panoramic roof. If a Scion Tc can have it why not a TL or RL.
For the Navi to play DVD-V like on the new Infiniti M would be gravy.
Do you mean a pwr telescopic steering wheel? The TL already has tilt/telescoping just not pwr with auto tilt away.
