Yeah, I've been looking at that, and a few of your posts in there that say "just do it, it's easy!" ...lol
I think I'm just gonna track down the kp person on here and see if I can order one. I'll just go for it, see what I get.

Its easy and there is a complete DIY on it in the 3G Garage here:

After searching for customized steering wheel for a long time and not finding a local one for a reasonable price (quoted $700+), I did the wheelskin DIY for $35. It makes the steering much easier to grab and doesn't look bad at all. I should probably take a couple of pictures.

If you guys want Dead Pedals, go to UltimatePedals.com. I've got one, Bearcat has one and they look great. Here's what they look like. Rob at Ultimate Pedals is great to work with. Sorry the pedal is not cleaner in the picture. I like it because it wraps around the original pedal, so you don't see the original black rubber OEM pedal.

Hey, I thought I was the only one that did the cargo net(s) discovery. I read about it on here and thought I'd take a look. Sure enough, tucked right there by the spare, brand new so I guess the previous owner also did not know about it.

Yea same here, the big one was out when I bought the car but I found the smaller one under the floor, what are all those weird hooks and stuff for thats on top of the spare?

And why don't you tell me why it would have a negative impact...haha you're comparing a crank pulley to a pair of flipflops...the only problem I could see is with the underdriven pulley and some people run these with superchargers on the TL without any problems...
and I love how some people think that they can modify things in an engine that's been designed to work a certain way and think that things will run better just because whatever they are replacing is lighter. Will you run better with flip flops because they're lighter than sneakers? Unless you can prove that a lighter pulley has no adverse impact on all the components that it connects to, then it would be naive to assume lighter = better and that there are no long term negative aspects to doing this.

got the leds from autozone for $29.99. 6$ for a rocker switch, and with a little wiring and butt connectors i already had this came out pretty cheap. i know everyone says its copying audi.. but my approach was more subtle... kinda like a fog light look i guess, just not the function of them.

Does an underdrive pulley really add horsepower? The pulley manufacturers say they do, and we've seen tests in magazines that seemed to indicate signficant gains. But you could get the same sort of gains during a drag race WITHOUT an underdrive pulley by removing the belt from your alternator. (The motor can run solely off the battery for a short time.)
The other benefit of aftermarket pulleys is to reduce rotating mass. Here the simple aluminum crank pulley has a big advantage over the heavy stock pulley, but there's a reason it's so much lighter: It's missing the harmonic dampener. The reduction in rotating mass may be worth a couple of horsepower. But removing the dampener seems like a bad idea to us.
The factory crank pulley has a built-in harmonic dampener, in the form of a split design, with a thick rubber pad sandwiched between two steel sheels. The dampener is designed to absorb torsional and vertical vibrations from the crank. MOST underdrive crank pulleys (with the exception of the Buschur Racing model) do not have a harmonic dampener at all.
Torsional vibration is a twisting vibration caused by the pulses of each combustion event. The force of the piston causes the crank to deflect ever so slightly in the direction of the force, and when that force goes away the crank ever-so-slightly springs back. At certain frequencies the crank can resonate, making the vibration much worse. This is where the harmonic dampener comes into play.
Although many DSM owners have removed the harmonic dampener crank pulley without incident, doing so almost certainly increases crank bearing wear, and COULD lead to early failure of the crank or crank bearings. Just how much the life of these parts is shortened is unknown.

We do have one piece of first-hand experience, to offer, though. We know of ONE instance of crank failure on the 4G63 motor. It was a 2.3-liter motor that belong to an employee of ours. The crank cracked in two -- the only time we have ever seen this happen. That block had an undampened crank pulley on it.

replacing all those ugly white bulbs with a green glow around the interior of the car such as the steering wheel buttons and dash buttons and lights to blue and white LEDs. $5 for a pack of 50 bulbs...cant go wrong with that lol

There's at least two ways to go. I really like my recent mod that is posted in that thread using the Oznium LED strips- pretty bright and very stealth when the car is parked and lights are off. I wired mine to come on when the motor is running so they function like DRLs. So far it's been a good mod and < $45 with shipping and tax factored.

Just saw this yesterday and found mine back there as well! Never would have figured that out on my own until I needed to get to the spare. Thanks!

hmm.... just got my cpo 07 TL last week and so far...
OEM All season mats
First Aid Kit (hey... you never know when you'll need a band-aid)
OEM Trunk Liner
Ebay Lip Spoiler (thespoilercompany.com)
Tons of Detailing Supplies!
Eventually i'd like to track down a set of supercomputer pedals....
I'm trying very very hard not to modify this car too much. I dumped way too much money into my old accord coupe (00 v6) so I'm trying to avoid that with this car.

Dealership has them. The door handle runs around $12.00. The inserts should come with your car if you bought it at an Acura dealership. Just ask for them. If you bought your car elsewhere, the dealership will probably charge for them at about $20 each plug....
You can try the Black Market section as sometimes people that live in states that require the front plate sell them. Or post up a WTB in there too.
Oh, and welcome to AZ
