What were your "inexpensive" mods?
I'm always looking for ways to add to my car, but don't want to break the bank. I've had the car for a month and want to make it stand out from the other TL's on the road.
Now "inexpensive" is a bit subjective, so maybe it would be easier to break it into categories.
Under $100- I've added V-LED lights, OEM Trunk liner, and spoiler from the spoiler store
Under $300- ISimple

Painted rear calipers....
Price: $9.00 for can of DupliColor caliper paint
Took about 20 minutes of prep time, 3-4 coats...and it looks awesome. Not quite as glossy as the from Brembos, but WAY better than the "before" look.
I also painted the "hub" part of the rotor, which was showing signs of oxidation. The car looks like it just drove off the showroom floor!! (With exception of the curb rash the previous owner put on the TL-S rims.....bastard!!)

great suggestions I might go broke adding all the inexpensive mods.
I did the leds for the trunk, reverse, and license plate. I was going to place an order to do the dome and door. Never thought of doing a different color for the door. Any pics?
Whats RSB and what's it do?

Former Whyner
^ Rear Sway Bar Progressive is a good one and Comptech makes one also.
They keep the chassis from flexing in a sharp or high speed cornering. Great mod to have that reminds me I need to get one.
If I am incorrect about anything someone please correct me.

RSB reduces lean in corners and makes the handling more neutral. It doesn't strengthen the chassis or keep it from flexing. Probably the best bang for the buck performance mod out there.

inexpensive mod would have to be the drop in filter. the LEDs throughout the car would qualify as inexpensive - however ive swapped them for brighter and brighter ones as those became available.

The cheapest, most visible way to stand out from other TL's on the road is probably getting a spoiler.
The cheapest, best bang for your buck performance mod is the rear sway bar.
The cheapest, best feature mod is Angry Dad's "ok" bypass hack + startup wallpaper. Good luck finding this, some babies threw a hissy fit awhile back and sent him packing. It hasnt been updated since.

My TL can do this, too!
- chrome trim on handles - $5
- chrome trim on front lower grille ('04-'06 only) - $6
- replace interior and door lights with 9-LED - $45
- debadging (my favorite) - FREE!
- replace fogs with 2500k yellows - ~$25

My cheap mods
Chrome Door Handle Inlay Trim
I think it looks real nice and has a nice feel to it. Build quality is also very good. Easy to install.
White LED License Plate
V-LED
Left is LED, Right is stock bulb. Notice the white vs. yellow color.
Night shot.
They are very bright and it's a very simple swap of the bulb. No messing with electrical.
While I was changing the LEDs and the felt was off, I took off the trunk lid weight (below). It's about 2-3 lbs and it helps a little bit when opening the trunk.
I did the fog light bulb switch to Nokya Arctic White
Before:
After: Left is stock, Right is Nokya bulb
NIGHT SHOT! No more yellow (bleh) color.
