What to use to clean display screen?

I was cleaning the interior today and noticed that my display screen (non-nav) is a little smudgy and hazy looking. In other cars, I have just used a swiffer type cloth to get the dust off. What products or type of cloth/towel does everyone use to clean the screen?

If you have smudge marks or finger prints on the display screen just go to a photography store and get the Micro Fiber cloth they use to clean LCD displays on digital cameras and camcorders; works great.

Just so you can see what I am refering to here is a link to 17th Street Photo which is a large online photography supplier.

I use a microfiber cloth that I bought at Pep Boys. I just keep it stowed in the glove box for those moments when my anal retentive nature takes over and I just have to dust the screen and the console.

The cleaning clothes that come with new prescription glasses also do the trick.

I use a microfiber cloth and the bug spray my eye doctor gives me to clean my glasses. Works great.

Microfiber cloth and Lenscrafters spray. The lenscrafters cloth works better than the one that came with my SE616.

Great, I'll have to run by the photo shop or the eyedoctor and get the cloth/spray. Thanks!

I have been told that these displays should not be sprayed unless they are very dirty and that the spray should not have any alcohol in it. I know there are cleaners for computer screens that are ok to use on the car.

I keep my glass cleaning cloth in the upper bin in the centre console. I usually wrap it around my finger when I am inputting addresses and then there are no finger marks. You can also use the stylus on a palm but I have some concerns it might scratch the screen. I am surprized I haven't seen screen protectors like they have for palms.

They do....check out Strong Engineering. They have a screen protector for the TL NAV. I use it and am generally happy with it.

I use the NAV cover from Stong's as well. It's MUCH better than the "stick-on" ones for a Palm. The only adhesive is on the border of the cover. This means the material does not distort the screen the way a Palm protector does.

I uses Stoner's and cotton coth on the cover every time I clean the inside.
