I got all my windows done (except sunroof and windshield) done for $200 cash, under the table. It was a friend of mine so I got a receipt, but chances are you wont get one since its below the legal limit :-D.

I'm in Florida and I have 15% All around FTW Except for the Windshield. I'm thinking of throwing 50% or Higher on the windshield just to reduce the UV rays and Sun Glare. It is Illegal to tint the front windshield here but like I said FTW.... Legal is 35% Front windows and 15% Back windows.
I just got my MBP TL last week, I plan to do 15% all the way around just like my previous car was.

Just look at my avatar. I got 5% on the back and 10% on the front windows. Never had a problem even though state limit is 35% to none I think. Kinda hard to see at night but I hate the sun and people looking at school.

I currently have 25% all the way around (minus the windshield). I really like the darkness of it... I think it's just about the perfect tint except for on the rear window. Also, when the car was tinted the tinters did not do the quarter windows the right way and also cut around my rear brake light in the rear window (I purchased the car with the tint already done). So I'm considering getting my tint redone. Since I get a chance to do it over again, here are a couple of things that I'm planning.
I may drop to 20% on the front and side windows just to go slightly darker. But I'm fine with 25% and I would recommend it. HOWEVER, I'm planning on getting my rear window done in a 10%. The reason being because of my tan interior. Due to the rear deck being so close to the rear window the tan color really makes the rear window tint look MUCH, MUCH lighter than the rest of the windows. If you have tan interior I would recommend going a couple of shades darker on the rear so it will even out the look on the car.
So my future plans are:
20% sides, 10%/15% rear, 50%+ on the windshield (???? this is just a thought at this point, I would REALLY have to consider it).
But WHATEVER you do, make sure they fully tint the quarter windows and DON'T cut around the rear brake light. Mine wasn't done right the first time and now I'm having to get it redone so that I can be happy. It just doesn't look as clean, IMO.

But if one decided to tint, make sure to go with good brands like Huper Optik (gon be expensive), SunTek, 3M, Llumar,Formular 1.
Also go with ceramic, metallic tint will cause phone signal and navigation interference.

I'm getting 30% on the 4 windows and a little darker on the back window for about 150 from the local shop that uses Llumar. I'll post some pictures when its done.
