Try Norris Acura in Ellicott City. Their prices are in that range via Acura's website quote request.

2005 TL w/nav in Boston for $32,300??

Jerryle --
Is this really correct? $32,300 is below invoice for a TL AT w/NAV. What dealership did you get it from? What dealer? Did you have to bargain much?
Sorry -- I see you already reported that you got it from Clair Acura in Walpole. Still, is the price of $32,300 really correct? That would be the best price I have seen anywhere, bar none. How did you get it?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a TL in the next few days. I'm in the DC area and I have a quote of $34,500 for the following:
Automatic
Navigation
Aero Kit (underbody spoilers)
Wing Spoiler
The dealership also gives you free maintenance for 2 years, free oil changes for life, a $200 gas card, and some other miscellaneous stuff (wheel locks, etc).
Any thoughts on this deal?
Thanks!

VTHokieTL,
Thats not a bad deal in my opinion (considering all the add-on's). I am guessing that is before tax, title etc?.
BTW, is this at Radley Acura?
Also, what color combo and is the car on the lot or a special order?
Good luck!

I'm getting the Anthracite/Ebony combo. The car is not on the lot, but should be there by Tuesday. I can't wait!

I bought from Radley as well back in October. It was their first '05...
I live in Skyline on Seminary Rd...Radley is a short jog over for myself as well. Who is your sales rep there? I dealt with Mohammed..

$34,500 out the door in Portland w/ Protection Package (trunk tray, mud guards, and wheel locks). Also got another $500 off the 18" A-spec wheel and lip spolier combo (this did not factor into the original price, as I decided to add them just days before delivery).
After reading the forum it's not great for some parts of the US, but for the Northwest I think it was OK and I was satisfied with the price.
Took delivery on Friday and coming from a 94 Integra GSR, it's quite a change!

Should I ask for more?
Ok, here's my story....did some internet quoting and got Norris Acura West to match a price from a dealer in NYC, $33,370 for '05 TL AT w/Navi.
I'm thinking about going for the 7/100 Ext'd Warranty but the dealer quoted me about $1,400. From the research on this forum, I am going to try to negotiate them to $1,100 (at a dealer cost of around 750)
Question: Should I try to squeeze more out of them? I've probably spent 20 min or less talking to the sales rep/mgrs throughout the whole process, although since I won't get the car until 1/15, I'm sure that number will climb.
I've seen people negotiating free oil changes for life (the dealer offered the first service for free). Is it realistic to try to push for that or just take it to Jiffy Lube? Is there anything else I should ask for?
Thanks.

Their finance guys will try to sell you the paint protection, etc - I would stay away from those gimmicks.
Overall, it was an alright experience with them. Wish they had budged more on the price than the $1000 off but since it was their first '05 it was not too bad. The '04's were being offered for nearly $2500 off back in Oct.
Pohanka could not even touch the $1000 off then...they told me to go to Radley as well!!
Good luck with the car and keep us posted on how it turns out

I also went to Norris a couple weeks ago. They weren't very willing to neg. I went to Tischer that same day and left w/ a new car at a price lower than 99% of the prices I've seen quoted on any of the threads. PM me and I'll give you more details.
BTW, don't go to Jiffy Lube!

I ended up at $33,900 for my '05 AT AM/Qtz Navi I got from Acura of Pasadena.
Not the BEST deal possible - but nice and fair IMO for what I got when I got it . . .

Woohoo!
Picked up my new Black on Black 6 speed TL last night. (I was thinking about the anthrocite and automatic).
Got it from Radley for the price they promised. $34500 including the rear wing and underbody spoilers. No one around could touch that price and I didn't have to haggle to get it. Finance was easy and not pushy with the extras. I would like to get the 6yr/100k extended warranty, but they would not budge on the list price. May try again later.
When I went to close the deal on Monday, my girlfriend fell in love with the 2005 Orange metallic RSX Type-S. She got a quote of 22,200 including fog lights. No one could touch that price either. Again, I was told to buy from Radley
She closed on that yesterday and we'll be picking it up tonight
Radley gets a big from me

Price Paid for 2005 TL
I paid $33,500 here in St. Louis. I just picked up my sliver w/NAVI 2005 TL on 1/3/05. I also had a trunk liner and mud flaps added without charge as well. I negotiated my price the week after Thanksgiving.
The car drives great. I have the michelins and I can't think of any problems right now. I didn't get a "space pen".
The only gripe that I have is the poor quality of XM. That is due to the compression. It is nice to have the variety of stations though, especially CNBC.

Wish I would have seen this thread earlier since I have a relative who just purchased a TL here in Portland, Oregon.
He paid 33,000 for a Silver Quartz AT Non-Nav with trunk liner, wheel locks, floor mats, all weather rubber mats, splash guards, and TL (no tax in Oregon). And he bought on the last day of the year no less.
From the sound of it, could have gotten a NAV for that price.

I just ordered a Blue on Quartz 5AT with Navi from Radley and with deck lid spoiler, body side molding for $33500. They are throwing in the wheel locks, mud flaps and a $200 gas card on top of the free maintenance for two years. I used a service called "carbargins" through Checkbook.org. The original checkbook quote from Radley was almost $1000 higher than a couple of other quotes but once I showed them the other quotes they matched. This is my second Acura (03 CL Type S with Navi) that I have purchased from them. Pretty good dealer.

I got an '05 Anthracite Quartz Navi the week before Christmas for $33,975. That included wheel locks and the destination fee. The dealer also threw in the first service free.
For another $149 I got lifetime hand washes and interior vacuuming and floor mat cleaning whenever I feel like taking it in to the dealer.
I wanted to get the spoiler for the back but didn't want to wait for the car. My wife wasn't really keen on the idea so a buddy said "Tell her it helps hold the car on the road when you're doing 100Mph"

Best Deal in South Carolina/Georgia Area
My local dealership here in Charleston would not budge from MSRP. However, I was able to get an 05 TL Anthracite AT with Navigation from Acura of Augusta for $33,675 out the door and delivered via enclosed trailer to my front door. Now I am military, therfore I save on paying tax, but that would be your only additional fee. A coworker of mine just took delivery of his Silver 05 TL AT with Navigation and got the exact same deal. I know for a fact that the dealer will deliver anywhere between Charleston, SC and Atlanta, GA since the day they delivered mine, they also made a delivery to Atlanta in the morning. If you do purchase from Acura of Augusta, please let Chuck Brown know that I referred you. He was very helpful and nice. Oh by the way, that also included the Protection Package (ie, wheel locks and mud guards). Thanks, Steve Gaschler.
Best of Luck to You!
P.S. For those of you in the Detroit, MI area, I also received a quote from Suburban Acura in Farmington Hills at $33,175 out the door. (ie, minus taxes due to being in the military and out of state)

I've canceled my 2nd TL for a very good reason.
My NEW car is coming home with me this Sat. day.
05 TL 5AT NAVI: Invoice price - $100 = a very very good reason.

jhan - which dealer is offering you an 05 TL 5AT Navi for $100 below invoice? This would come out to $32,273. This price is unheard of in So Cal. Seems like most So Cal people in this forum are getting their 05 TL's w/Navi around the mid to high $33K range at best.
And what accessories (splash guards, wheel locks, trunk tray, all-season mats, etc.), if any, does the deal include?
