Christmas Wish.......I for one would love to see a mod developed to safely decrease the turning radius of the TL. This is one serious shortfall of the dynamics of the car, I mean our lexus and even the big Odyssey can easily pull a U on our street from the parked position adjacent to the curb. Try that in the TL and you need to drive across the sidewalk and onto the lawn............ok maybe not the lawn, but you all know what I mean!

I would love the active suspension of the Vettes and Mercedes with the metallic shock fluid that is controlled by electromagnets at each shock. The full factory systems have an incredible amount of control over the suspension. No body roll, pitch and yaw control and they ride pretty smooth.
Even if we did a "cheap" version where instead of an ECU, we could remotely control both the rebound and compression firmness electronically from inside the car it would be neat.

I'd like to see something regarding interior upgrades, Acura did a phenomenal job with the interior for the pricing, however something a bit nicer like a full leather dash/center console or alcantara would be awesome!

For helping out with the turning radius or for performance? It would be neat to have opposite phase 4 wheel steering for parking lots but it would add 3-400lbs to the car.
To the OP, I think it would take a heck of a lot to alter the turning radius. I believe there is special caster and geometry requirements. Then there's clearance issues and if the rack has the travel. I would love to do it for sure but I think it would take a team of engineers to accomplish it.

I was hoping it could be accomplished relatively easily, but I doubt thats the case. Its just lame having to do a 3point turn when in the odyssey i can just spin a U with ease.
I dunno about that being a product of a high output FWD, the odyssey is the same drivetrain and turns circles around the TL

Didn't they do that on some of the Chevy and GMC pickup trucks? I swear I remember it as some type of parking assist. By contrast, the old 300Zx system and I think the 3000GT VR4 was more of a performance item but the Chevy trucks could literally turn on a dime but only at very low speeds or it became inactive. My memory is pretty bad.

I just wonder if it's because the TL is sold only/mostly in North America. Most of the cars that are sold in Europe and especially the ones built in Europe have a decent turning radius. Not that it helps with the issue but just wondering out loud. I always thought it was due to the 108" wheel base but some of the much longer Mercedes can turn sharper than a subcompact.

I remember seeing a commercial for this truck where they were highlighting this feature...

I think RWD would be next to impossible since you'd probably need to mount the engine longitudinally, which would require pretty much the entire engine bay to be reengineered.
I'd like to see some type of launch control for the 3G TL, specifically the 6MT. It seems like traction is the only thing that's stopping them from breaking into the 13s, and this could probably help.

If we're all just giving our ideas:
Hmmmm....how about stretching it into the size of a Maybach with rear reclining captain's chairs?!
Or..or..maybe...make it into a WAGON?!
Oh!...and uhh...someone could possibly, like, throw in an NSX V8?!

I second the AWD movement. If it was possible, I'd be one of the first to sign up. I miss my Subie .
Otherwise, I'd like to see a Helical LSD. I know the mechanical LSD for the 6MT 3G TL's does a decent job of taming that pull, but a helical would only enhance that performance.

I'd like to see completely different style taillights. I'm not talking about the tints and lens changes from Ack and other vendors, I'm talking a totally different style more similar to some of the tails on Infinitis or Scions or even the tails on my MDX are nicer looking.
