What kind of wash mitt do you use for your TL?

Just wondering what people use as a wash mitt. Any preferences and recommendations? Which ones do not put any micro-scratches on the paint? After using it, do you then wash the wash mitt in the washer for later re-use or do you simply air\sun dry it?

I use 100% white cotton towel. Rinse it under hose again before I put it in bucket and on the car. I wash it in washing machine and line dry it.

Do you use fabric softener and Bounce anti-static sheets also?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Nope! No fabric softner. Only Tide to wash it. And since I line dry it, no anti-static sheets.

I use the sheepskin washmit from costco. Been using it for 6 years on all my cars, and I havne't noticed any scratching. I hose down the washmit when I'm done, and toss it in the washing machine, if it looks overly dirty.

I almost bought one of those sheepskin mitts from costco but the wristband "meshy" area around the mitt looks rather gnarly.

Sheepskin mitt. Holds a lot of soapy water to both clean better and reduce scratches.

I would rather be caught in a car wash than be caught using a gnarly sheepskin mitt. Lot's of sheep must be running around skinless.

What I meant (in case people didn't understand the first time) was that the Costco sheepskin mitts have a rough mesh area around the wrist that serves as a wristband that can easily scratch the paint of your car.
