They moved all the stickys to their own forum "Common TL Topics and Questions" reachable from the main forum listings page. The forum is the top one on the list (then comes 3rd gen TL, 2nd gen etc). This was to make a sort of faq people can go to first.

Thanks for the question, and thanks for the answer. Clears up why the sticky's disappeared. I thought they just put them back into the forum without the sticky designation. One more place to look, but it makes sense now that I know where to look.
