What a great sponge!
So my daughter dropped a 10oz cup of milk in the back seat yesterday. By the time I jumped into the back seat and removed her car seat (we were parked) all I could do is watch every last drop get sucked up into our perforated sponge seats. What a sad sight. I can't wait for the sun to cook the milk for a couple of days.
If I removed the back seat and try to rinse it out or, at the very least, air it out do you think it will help? I hope I am not out a few thousand dollars for a new rear seat!

You can prolly clean it. Why would you let your daughter drink in the car, and why with milk, and why in anything other than a sippy cup, preferbly a bottle?! There are probably some good cleaning agents that will get it out. The point of leather is supposed to be that it is easier to clean.

You should check with your dealer on what apolstry shop they use. Those guys can pull the seat apart and replace the padding. I had an Impala SS that had a spring break in the seat and poke through the side of the seat. The guy made a new panel for the hole, and re-bolsterd the seat. Better than new!. Cost about $100 bucks, but I had to let him drive the SS.

Take the seat out. A friend of mine spilled milk on the seat of his car once. Tried to clean it without removing the seat...well....let's just say it smelled like vomit after a few months. You won't be able to even sell the car. The seats are easy to remove, and new cushions don't cost that much.
