I save between 20-25 dollars/ fill with the exchange rate.
Yikes! I can remember being in the Northern Rockies area of BC a couple of years ago and it was $1.99/L there (the pumps didn't go up any higher.)

I just saw on ABC World News Tonight that they expect gas prices to rise .30 cents by August.

Gas price rose 5 cents at the gas station I went to yesterday. Luckily I filled up before that. Used my lowes rewards card to get 15 cents off a gal. and charged it on my discover card that is 0% interest rate and 5% back on gas purchases.

Yup gas went up 6 cents in my province today. News must have leaked out beforehand because there were lineups at the pumps last night.

I thought having to use premium fuel would be a bigger hit on the pocketbook, but even though it is more expensive, I don't find that it's a huge difference in a a tank of gas. Premium actually went up less than regular did.

Does the 1G TSX only call for regular? I was pretty sure it requried premium.

$3.79 for premium (91) in SLC, UT.

$4.20-$4.40 in So/Central Cali. It's ironic that it's more expensive than the rest of the country since we produce and refine a lot of oil and gas around here.

When I was in Europe and went to fill up for the first time I looked at the prices and I thought they weren't bad at all, about the same as we were paying back then in the States, about $2.50. Then I realized it was in liters, not gallons.

premium is recommended-have used regular with no problems for 154K miles. Get great MPG, and more than enough power.

I remember when the first jump happened over 2 bucks. People were freaking out. It was around 2.30ish in the Bay Area. An it was only 99 cents in ft benning ga.

I'd be really happy and more incline to drive weekend trips more often if it was under 3 bucks. Its 4.24 at shell. Here in the Bay Area.

There is also gasbuddy.com. If anyone care to use it and find out a spacific cost anywhere.
I'm glad i sold the v8 tundra and bought a v8 x5. My wife is driving it. But I still feel the hit in the wallet. Lol. :p. what ya gonna do we needs the gas mang.

If I can go one more week I'll make it a month between fillups. Doing the timing belt over the next two days so that's two less days of using gas, it's very likely I'll make 4-5 weeks between fillups.

I only wish this city was bike friendly. It's almost a shame to even start the car for a 1.5 mile drive. Plus I need an excuse to use my bike since i built it and once it was finished I've only put a few miles on it. I do have 1800 lumens of LED/LiIon power which is considerably more intense than the TL's headlights which makes it a little safer but it would still be suicide.

HIDs are in the range of 3200 lumens for OEM brand bulbs like philips and osram. HIDs are very intense, but it doesnt seem that way in properly aimed projectors because they aim at the ground, not into your eyes

Lumens the TL wins. Intensity, the mountain bike wins. I can shine the bike light at the same spot the headlights are pointed at and the bike light is all you can see. The difference being the bike light is more focused. I have another 400 lumens x2 that can point towards the sides of the trail which is really important for night riding through the woods and mountains but not used on the street. The rear red light is much brighter than the TL's brake lights, it hurts to look at but with all of the horrible drivers it's necessary.

$1.26/L right now. It's gone down about 10 cents in the last two weeks here in NS. Hope it keeps going!
