In the US, our costs are half that. Approximately $1 per liter.

Remember, most of your fuel price is taxes.

As soon as I read the title of this thread, the only thing I could think was: "Much cheaper than wherever you are!"

'Murica.

(~$4.20 near Chicago suburbs)

Paid $4.02 for 93 octane here in the Chicago suburbs. I think regular grade was around $3.60ish. Usually here in the Chicago area we average highest in the country....which is bullshit.

Having traveled to Palm Beach, FL. ATL, GA. Chicago and Minneapolis, MN this year its seems Nashville was always about $.20 -.40 cheaper than those 3 cities. TN has 93 octane. Whats funny also is that the next county over its about .15 cents cheaper.

93 seems to be hovering in the 3.99-4.09 range between Albany and Buffalo, which isn't bad, considering last winter it was ~ 4.40. I don't even want to know what it is downstate. I'd like to see 2.50-2.70 like we did in '09 though.

A month or two ago some premium fuels topped 5 bucks a gallon in downtown Chicago. Glad I live nowhere near the city!!

For what it's worth, I have a penfed rewards card that gives me 5% cash back instantly on ALL gas purchases. So if gas is say 4 bucks a gallon, I'm really only paying 3.80ish. I love this card!!!

I live in the Twin Cities Metro area where are you finding 93 as I have never found a station that has it?

I filled my car up yesterday Costco 92 $3.39 for those that may think Costco is cheap gas compared with BP or Shell I keep meticulous fuel records and have done months where I only use BP and months where I have only used Shell and found very little difference in MPG or engine running. I did notice a marked improvement when I drove to Texas for F1 race in Austin and filled up with Racetrack 93 octane. The engine ran better and had more pick up it also achieved a 1 MPG economy improvement even though I was driving at a higher rate of speed on the Texas SH130 than normal interstates.

The price of fuel will keep going up until the situation in Egypt has settled down.

so far fuel prices here have been going down-I am sure they will start going up in the very near future. A lowes gas station opened near me. Next time I fill up there I will be able to get a 15 cent a gal. discount using my Lowe's food store rewards card.

I'm tellin you guys, look into the PenFed rewards Visa card. 5% cash back on ALL pay at the pump gas purchases. And the money is put right back towards your balance. Like I said above, if gas is 4 bucks a gallon, using the PenFed rewards card your really paying approx $3.80ish.

I am in the lower mainland of British Columbia Canada, for 91 it is 158.5/L today or about 6 dollars a gallon.

Generally i make the drive to Washington where it is currently $4.05 a gallon in Blaine which works out to $1.07/L

It is about a 35-40 min drive from my house but i am usually visiting friends in the area.

I save between 20-25 dollars/ fill with the exchange rate.
