What to do with the TL.

I have a 05 w/Navi. It will be paid off in 6 months. I currently have 57000 and thinking I will be at 65000. I am thinking that I will sell the TL and get a 08 Type S and pay it off in a year. Newer car no miles. That is my thoughts, but Im nervous about buying the Type S considering there are so many different cars out there. What would you do. im thinking I will get aleast 20k for my car. how would you spend it on another car?

Im worried that i will have so many miles on the car that the value will go way down. Right now I can get about 20 to 25k for the car.... i want to use that money towards a new one. I figure if i get a new one next summer when the new model comes out I can trade it in. it will have low miles and i should get a good price for it.

but help me out with this. will the 09 tl change or will it be different in 2010 and come out mid to end of 09?

2009 will be the total redesign; we should see it an auto show in the early months if next year - so if anything, wait until its unveiled and then figure out if you want an 08 or the new body style..

Do you just like having a new care every 3-4yrs? If you want an 08 TL-s I'd wait until the reveal of the 09, so it will be a buyers market as dealers are trying to unload for the new gen.

If you gave me a Lexus, I would probably get a speeding ticket taking it to the another dealership to trade it in. Toyota is the devil.... and the new GS doesnt look all that good to me. the LS has nice features but it looks like the Camry in the back...

I guess im just a Honda person, even though they are way behind right now.

keep it until the 09, IMO tl-s isnt worth the trade. Drive all other cars IE G35 Sport M45 IS GS 3 series (twin turbo coupe )!!

This is a question that would be best answered in Car Talk. Since we can't move threads there, please feel free to repost there. Good luck.
