What to do? Buy or lease
I have been on this forum for a couple of weeks as I was making my decision on which car to buy. After testing out the usual suspects I decided on the TL ('05 Non-Navi Anthracite Ebony). I think I got a pretty good deal, $30,950 w/ all season mats, trunk tray, mud guards and an extra key.
Based on what I have been reading I am not sure whether to buy or lease. Seems like people are finding a bunch of minor problems and a fewer people with tranny issues. I tend to keep my cars a long time, but from what I have been reading not sure if the TL will make it for the long haul.
Any thoughts on reliability issues and what changes Acura might make in the future? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are many great threads on this site regarding buying vs. leasing as far as determining which is right for you. Do a search. As a rule of thumb, if you keep a car more than 4 years, go over 15k a year, and can make the more costly payments, buy. IMHO, its hard to beat Honda's reliability over the long haul no matter what the model line.
If you plan to keep long term, I would say buy, I believe that the leases help short term owners that do not put too much mileage on the vehicle.
Remember that the issues you see on this board only represent a small percentage of the population and there are similar boards for pretty much all of the TL's competitors and I'm sure there are similar rants on them as well.
Good luck.
