I actually switched to a 335i as well. Can't compare the two cars. Handeling is better, power is better (I dyno'ed in at 330whp with the jb4), and overall fit and finish is better (no rattles and leather feels better).

My next toy is going to be another Corvette, had one before I got married and bought a house. I may keep the TL for an everyday and winter car depending on what it's worth when I sell it.

Just read in the Car & Driver that the new C7 Corvette (the Transformers Corvette) will come out as a 2013. That means it will be here in the fall of next year. Starting price $52,000. I'll get that instead of my Lambo...

Nothing. Going to see how long this car lasts. I keep my cars forever. Better last me at least 10 years. Then I'll decide!
This is our first Honda vehicle. Have been happy with the Nisans & the Toyota's thus far. So the proof is in the longevity.

My next car will be another Acura.. a '12 TL. Why switch from a car this good? I don't buy for status, I buy for reliablility and comfort but having some go-go under the hood doesn't suck.

Probably not replace but have along with my TL after it's paid off. Probably either a 2003 Ford Mustang SVT cobra, or a Dodge Charger SRT 8. Need to keep the TL for Daily driving with these gas prices that seem to be coming into effect

06TL -> 06MDX -> 10 TL SHAWD within 2 years time.

Maybe next time I will be adventurous and venture out of Acura.

Have an agreement with the misses that when I turn 40 (1.5 years) I will be getting a Porsche Cayman. I'm using the excuse of a Midlife crises.

Nothing wrong with the '08, just got the itch for an upgrade. the '12 will have some very nice features the '-04-08 doesn't have.. SH-AWD, 6 AT, vented seats in Houston summers, voice recognition head unit...

I should be able to sell the '08 since it has only 42K miles with nice street looks aka curb appeal.

correct me if im wrong but you just said "why switch something if its good" so why would you change if you just admitted to your car being good?

Won't be another Honda, unless they get their shit together with their gear boxes. Well...... I may replace her with an Auto TL-S 08 I can't lie I love the design too much. Just got my windows tinted today and boy does that make all the difference.

I am grown boy and can make my own decisions but just for the repeat record:

Does the 08 have SH-AWD? No

Does the 08 have a 60GB hdd and voice recognition? No

Does the 08 have a 3.7L and 6AT? No

Does the 08 have a blind spot indicator? No

Do I want a new car? yes

Why I am explaining myself? Good question.

I should have said I was getting a CTS-V and no one would have blinked...

LOL at believing most of the cars posted in this thread are still retailing at $70K.

^ True. The funny thing is that once you save enough cash to buy a 70K car, you know how much it hurt to earn/save it and you don't want to let it go.

Definately! I bought cheap used cars until I was in my 30's. I was 31 when I bought my first new vehicle and it scared the crap out of me to let that $$ go!

I had no sense of entitlement and was taught to earn when I had. My first car cost me 50$. I had to scrape and save to buy it. Sure, it was 1975, gas was about $0.40 a gallon but I only made $1.75 an hour. 1963 Rambler American Classic 660.. I was proud of it too. Most klds at my school didn't drive new or newer cars.

Different times, different world... same people, different idealogy, I guess ....

Where's my geritol and viagra bottles??

Besides the 335i, most of the cars in this thread can be had for less.

Most of the people wanting a E46 M can get one for the price of a TL-S.

Yea, I'll be out in the "real world" after this summer. I desperately need to find a job to fund my car addiction haha. I think a used Evo X will be an option after saving a couple years though. Hopefully.

Although stock won't exactly be enough for me so... maybe not.
