The stock bulbs give the brightest output possible. Are you sure your HID's aren't aimed too high or low?? An option would be to go with a different lens or maybe try a 55w bulb/ballast.

I think you got that the other way around. The 10000k have the lowest light output. I got 6000k and they're not that much dimmer than stock.

What's important to you? Color, performance? The brightest ones would be Phillips 85122+ rated at 4300k, resist color change. 3200 lumens, the only problem is they seem to be a little yellow for most peoples liking. Otherwise I'm looking into Osram xenonarc cool blue bulbs. Rate at 5000k with close to the same lumens as the 85122+'s so you get the best of both worlds. I'm running philips ax 6 bulbs that are rated at 6000k lumens suck so output is very poor think they put out 12-1800 lumens.

The stock bulbs blow.

Phillips 85122+ 4300k is the best bulb you can buy.

Well this guy didn't exactly seem like the person I'd like to start throwing out new bulb types, Kelvin ratings, etc...haha.

Anyways OP, the higher the Kelvin (K) of the bulb the less light output and the color will change significantly. The color isn't set in stone for every K (6,000K, etc) as some will vary, but most are very close to any chart you can pull up on google. For the brightest temp, anything from 4-5K will do the trick...6 being slightly more blue. Hopefully this quick little write up helps ya

I think you mean kelvin temperature, not lumens. And "6000k lumens" would evaluate to 6,000,000 lumens which, of course, just ain't gonna happen. Think kelvin.
