What is this ....
.... and is it supposed to be there?
WDP 07 TL-S. On the panel between the rear door and rear wheel I have a small triangular type sticker/decal. It is body color matched, but is slightly off color compared to the rest of the car.
I first thought it was to protect from scuffs and/or road debris. I've started to wonder if should have been removed when the dealer prepped the car for delivery.
Using a pic from another thread, I have illustrated the approximate shape and location.
What is it and should it be left alone or removed?
TIA

It's the same material (or very similar) to the 'clear bra' kits sold by 3M. It's a chip guard, and I wouldn't remove it if I were you. It's there because the paint in that area of the car is constantly bombarded with road spray and gravel that gets spit up in the wake of the front tires.

Bearcat94, It is a piece of clear-bra to protect from rock chips. If I were you I wouldn't remove it. You can rest assured that you've paid for that even if you didn't know it was there...

Thanks everyone.
I didn't even notice them until we detailed the car about 10 days ago. Just didn't know what they were and the more I thought about it, the more I thought that maybe they were put on for protection during transport.
Now that I know, I'll leave 'em be. This is a daily driver, so if they'll help keep debris from damaging the car, it's good by me.
