I notice that the search window pops UNDER the GMC presidents day advertisement. So you are forced to click the advanced search because thats all I can HIT because the advertisement is on top.

So once I am in the advance search, I search on a topic, and the results will be entitled one thing, but the page it takes me to is something completely different. That happens about 20 - 25% of the time.

Another thing I am confused about.. If you filter on black market, there are results listed that are not in the black market section. Same thing with 2G verses 3G. You never know what you're going to get.

Also if I drill into the TL section at the top, and then click on 3rd generation.. and do a search, the search results are everywhere. It doesnt stay in the 3G section. So, it doesnt work too well to say the least!!

Even if you specify in the advanced search, to only look in the 3G section, the results are all over the place. I truely dislike this search tool.

And these white and pale blue colors is so 1994.

upgrades anyone?

Yep I too believe this site needs a major overhaul. Search function works about 50% of the time.

 

It happens to me sometimes but it usually just fixes itself.

I would recommend maybe swapping the search tab and the vendor directory tabs

Search has given undesired results for a very ling time. It has been brought up before and is generally contradicted as "working fine".

I eventually find what I am looking for but it frequently is only after I look through several pages of results.

 

I just searched for "thong" in the "FS" area and I got 88 results and none of them are in "FS". And I'd be willing to bet, Thong is not in there too. haha right?
