Weathertech Floorliners

Hi all,

Just got my weathertech floorliners today for my TL. Just wondering if anyone else has these and what do you clean them with? I have a set previously in my Titan, would use Armor All to clean them but they would be very slippery.

Just wondering if there's anything better that would bring them to a new look and not be a "skating rink".

thx,
Paul G.

I'll take some tomorrow. My TL is Moroccan Red w/the Taupe/Blk interior. I got the black floorliners front and rear. I had these in my Titan and loved them. When they get dirty, just take em out and wash em' off.

I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.

Westley's whitewall tire cleaner works great on black rubber tires and mats. It removes the oxidation and leaves them flat black. Use it on your black tires too. Don't know how it works on other colors but it's great on black rubber.

why wouldn't you just get the OEM Acura ones? The front set have a raised TL logo on them. I wouldn't prefer weathertech unless the manufacturer didn't offer the oem ones. Or do the weathertech ones cover more area?

I wash my OEM all weather mats with soap and water. Just scrub them really well.

Prolly the same reason I wouldn't buy the Acura ones ... they yank your wallet out through your ass when you pay for them ..

I have had a set of black rubber Kraco all season mats since 1993 and they have been in every one of my vehicles since then and show no wear at all . And today they are still in the area of $15 ea for the fronts and less than $10 for the backs.

I would say use soap and water and a brush. I think that's the best way to clean them. I've had them (all weather mats) in my cars for years and I've never used any treatments on them.

BTW Weathertec is a class outfit. I have the vent shades and a rear one broke (windows down nice day, all of the sudden I hear a noise and the shade is gone). I called weathertec to see if I could purchase just one. The woman on the phone was extremely nice and said "sure". Then she said "you know I think I can put this in as a warranty issue, and they always get the left and right rear ones wrong so we'll send you the pair for free!" They sent it Fedex 2nd day air! Now that's customer service! Oh yeah I forgot, I bought them TWO years ago.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread just wanted to share my experience.

I have a set of these floor liners on the MDX, I just use Simple Green and a nylon brush to clean it when it's really dirty at the end of winter.

Been looking for a set of set of winter mats for my TL, I wish the OEMs were offered in a color closer to Taupe.
