I just finished my finals!! So that means more time for me to work on my car. I just started modding my TL-s with the money I was saving up for a bike. But my friend got in a huge motorcycle accident so I decided not to buy it. I installed AEM CAI (RED!) last month, and last night I finished up all the tinting (windows, tail lights, side markers) and changed couple bulbs (switchback LED, Hoen xenonmatch foglights). Took me all day to do that... I messed up a bit on the tail lights with air bubbles, cuts, etc. Tinting the tail was the hardest thing I had to do on this car so far. Its not THAT noticeable, but I gotta re do it sometime in the future.

In the meanwhile, to finish up my headlight mods, I bought some red angel eyes from lightwurkz. I'm going to clear my headlights and hook these up to my parking lights. Its going to look like this.

Then I'm thinking whether I should tint the headlights.. (they are just sitting in my room). ANY SUGGESTIONS??? These tints are blue batmobiles btw. 20%.

So today i'm gonna start working on these red angel eyes and then I'll post up more pics... I gotta install them resistors too... Ahg. Anyways here are some pics of what I did yesterday.

angel eyes are a bad idea cause they often fail, but you seem pretty committed so let us know how it goes. Make sure those ballasts are water-proofed well.

This is harder than I thought.. I'll try to post DYI with lots of pictures. Its gonna take me a while.

I used to be at parking structure 3 but I got revoked after audit. =( Got full refund though. Yeah lets meet up sometime for photo shoot.

I have the NBP TL-S with red angel eyes. You shouldn't wire them to your fog switch, you should wire them to a separate switch. If you get pulled over you can get arrested for impersonating a police officer. Other than that its one of the best mods that I have done. I get compliments all the time in the streets with them, but definitely not easy to install. I had JNC install mine cause I did not want to worry about messing up some $800 dollar headlights. The halos themselves don't fail that often. Only a few people have had that happen. The ballasts they come with do, you have to upgrade those. OT but switchbacks have a high rate of failure too.

Sorry guys I know you guys wanna see the red angel eyes but I've been getting caught up in parties... But I managed to install the LED resistors. I mounted it on the trunk with 3M tape and some electric tape. Did anyone try to do it like me? ^^

FYI for anyone doing the resistors, the passenger side has identical cords. You have to hook it up to white cord with silver stripe and black cord with silver stripe. BUT they all look like that. lol I just kept doing trial and error until I found the right ones.

Guys, should I just leave the headlights cleared out? I know Msala and Kennedy used Carbon Fiber but I think that's a lil too much work for me. And if I black it out I'm afraid the light output of the switchback LED mite reduce...

The thing about TL-s headlight is that the front part is already all black but the turn signal area is chrome. Is there any pictures of cleared out TL-s without blacking out or CF trim? I think in order to even out the headlight i gotta black it out..

Check jnc's thread, he does a partially cleared out turn signal which is what I have. Only alil of the turn signal is blacked out so that you will keep the output of your switchback.

Thanks for the input msala! I'm getting the angel eye installed this thursday. I'll post pics after. I dont think im going to black it out. Besides, it matches the clear turn signal on the side mirror. In the meanwhile I'm working on debadging the rear and painting the acura symbol black. I'll post pics of that later tonight. =)

Use sandpaper if you wanna paint the emblem. Pain in the butt without it. 2 more days till angel eyes..

Does anyone know when ATLP and Rv6 are gona send their exhaust parts! I've been waiting almost 2 months
