WDP, Ebony.

I did a search and didn't really find much info. I know it is not currently available. But has anyone heard anything about interior choices changing for next year. I'll be getting a 05 WDP no matter what, but I'm crossing my fingers for Ebony and non integrated fogs.

I had ebony in my blue '01 CL-s...I now have quartz and find it to be a much nicer color...also keeps the interior of the car cooler...Ebony or not you will love the WDP....it beats the hell out of my old Aegean blue

Don't get me wrong, I love the quartz. I just like the Ebony better. Mostly because I prefer wood grain dash. The quartz only has the aluminum finish. Either way I have allready made up my mine on the WDP.
My girlfriend is thrilled, she hates my Agean.

Hate to break it to you but the ebony doesn't come stock with the wood either. Only Parchment and Camel have the woodgrain stock.

There have been members who have converted their carbon fiber to wood.

DITTO DITTO AND MORE DITTO! Quartz is great and very spacious feeling. Ebony is cool, and I probably would have gotten it if it had been available on the 04 WDP because I had it in my last two TLs, and my wife has it in her Silver MDX, but the reality is that the Quartz feels very roomy, very, I don't know, bright and happy inside.

I am with you - I almost DIDN'T buy the TL because I could not get ebony with WDP. How stupid is this? I had no problem getting this in my Toyota Solara, but Honda has some issue with putting the black interior in white cars.

HONDA - GET OVER IT!

The Dark interior is the most luxurious and cozy. Wtih tinted windows there is no heat issue.

BTW- You CAN get this in Canada on some models, so now it makes even LESS sense!

I want ebony with white too!

I am with you...I would be ready to buy if I could get the ebony interior with the white exterior.

I have been trying to decide if I can wait until the 05 to see if they built this configuration. I have a white 1992 Mitsubishi Diamante and I love it, but it is getting old. I do not usually keep a car this long...but it is a great one...and...I had not found anything I wanted until the new TL's came out.

If I do not wait for an 05, I will settle for a anthracite metalic (gray) with the ebony interior. This is the second best color IMO.

At first I thought I would like the gray interior, but when I see it in person I do not. I do not like the mixing of gray and black on the door panels and the dash. (The seats and carpet are fine).

Anyway...I wish we could find out if Acura was going to give us "a great looking combo' in 05 or not.

There needs to be a white-exterior with an ebony interior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!1

In Canada only on the 6MT. But then again, you can't get navi on the 6MT. You can't get hands free on the standard model, only on navi and 6MT models. You can't get XM on any of them. Its a weird situation. I got navi which also gets you bluetooth. Confusing.

Confusing and seemingly pointless.

I use my navi all the time for work. I'm in outside sales, so it makes life much easier. No more getting directions, no more getting lost, looking for a restaurant, hassling with being lost while on weekend getaways with my wife.

Besides that, my wife and I both really like the technology and the convenience in day to day life. It also makes it really easy for us to switch back and forth with the cars, so we both get to enjoy ownership twice. My '02 TL also had a navi, but I keep taking the new TL instead of the MDX...she's only driven it once in 11 weeks. :p Also, I don't want my wife to ever get lost or feel vulnerable in LA. The navi protects against that, and its worth every penny.
