Chips on Wheels

I've already got two chips on the wheels. This was the last thing I expected. They must be from road debris. I haven't hit any curbs or had any work done. Anyone else experiencing this?

Oh, and I got my first rock on the windshield today. I actually pulled off the freeway to look. I know, I'm sick and I need a doctor. It did chip the windshield but it's behind the rearview mirror so I won't see it.

Ahhh...

I know how that feels. This is one thing I hate having a brand new car. Every little dings and nicks hurts a lot.

Anyway, about your wheels, I haven't experienced any chipping. However, I did checked the curb with my rear wheel. This is my first low profile tires...

I was thinking about replacing the wheel all together, but I decided to repair it. I told them not to repaint the whole wheel, but rather spot paint if they can. I was really impressed with the result. I couldn't even see where they spot painted. I guess I was fortunate that the damage was around outer rim...
