Dude I just read your whole story man cops seem to hate you. As far as proof that you have to have the tint off can you just take pics of another black acura TL and bring that to court with you?

 

Lol no, they run your plates and registration back to central or whatever it is to confirm you had it taken off.

 

wow that sucks man well then I guess do what everyone else was saying and get a doctors note.

 

I have a folder in my documents full of pics from before I had my tints installed.
They show the car without tints in front of the tint place, along with close ups of the window etchings before i put the tints on. Plus I have doctored versions of my reciept from the tint shop saying "window tint removal $50" rather than "window tint install. $150"
I knew it would come in handy since I had 35% tints on my 03TLs and because I got tickets anyway, I went with 20% on my 06. now that I got pulled over & ticketed 'for no reason' again, I'm planning on doing the windshield too.

 

I was thing of tinting my own windows. Has anybody used Snap Tint? It looks nice, allready die cut to size. ALSO I want light so pigs won't bother me. 50% would be ok??? As for color, I was told to get true grey not smoke, what do you think? I have a ASM 07 TL-S. Thankyou
