Water Leak

I have parchment interior and a week ago i noticed discoloration in my rear leather seats where the back rest meets the seat. I tried cleaning the area out and then realized that this was actually a water stain. I stuck my hand between the back rest and the seat and it was actually damp. I brought the car to the dealer this past Tuesday. They claimed they did a leak test and found nothing wrong. They said that I must have accidentally left my rear windows open and the back seats got wet. I got my car back without anything done. This afternoon I checked around the trunk area where the spare tire is. There was moisture and mold all over the place and there was actually about an inch of water on the wheel well. My car is going back to the dealer on Monday. Has this ever happened to anyone?

WOW... thats ridiculous... i would be SOOOOOOOOO pissed rite now. That's a BIG problem. I would ask for a new car. Headliner falling, i can live with, glove box not fitting, i can live with, but a leak and mold growing in my trunk? WOW! :banghead:

I used to work in a new car dealership. When someone complained of a leak, a mechanic got in the trunk with a flashlight, they closed the trunk and ran the hose on it. If there was a leak he usually found it right away.

Maybe you could try this (if you don't have claustrophobia).
