Warranty Question.

I'm just wanting to get information on this before I do the purchase, still kind of reluctant tho, since I don't know why he is selling an 08 w/ 2K miles for 35K.
I checked carfax and it was clear so ehh..

Doesn't matter if you are the 2nd owner of the 200th owner. So long as its not a salvaged title as someone said earlier and as long as its still within the mileage/service in date of the manufactureres warranty.

and exactly HOW did the car end up at mopm and pop shop??
Did they take it as trade in?, not likely that they went to the auction and bought it
for cheap there already.,, which is where a lot of momnpops shop for the cars they sell.
Bank repo- stolen recovered etc at the auction
Make sure its clean titled car- not salvage title
Take a trip to a few acura dealers, in these days of slim sales, they will make crazy deals
to get a car off the lot, rather than paying to house, wash and insure it while in their hands.
Modded cars- aspec kits- have a limited market appeal so you can wheel and deal

Btw completely off topic but I am glad I don't own a MB. A friend of mine owns a CLS 550 and his rear rotors are scored/grooved and make noise and was told since brakes are wear and tear items it would not be covered under warranty. I told him to ask them to fax the specs concerning the rear rotors and how much is considered acceptable but I don't think they did.

Um, yeah, you should be able to do considerably better than $35k on a used TL.
