I just ordered a 7 year 100K Acura Care warranty from Ray Laks Acura for $1,065. Today is the last day of this pricing. Other dealerships complained so now they have to raise the price starting tomorrow. What kind of B.S. is this?

You can buy the warranty from any dealer- including several that support azine- and will cut a good deal for our members

Ok- dont tell ANYONE what I gave you for the special Hank Hill price is on this car ok now!= full retail plus 10 percent

 

Honda is ending all internet sales of Honda/Acuracare beginning tomorrow.

Sad.

 

As if other dealers would know what they were selling it for-
extend warr is a major commission item- like scotchguard and protecto paint sealant

Each dealer is a private biz, owned locally in most cases. They pay acura to be a franchise and they have to report to Corp on many things- but not about this!!
They are free to sell the car for as much as possible too- and overcharge on mudflaps if they want to- add ~local value fees~ whatever- its business,
and everyone is slow- except the bankruptcy courts

Unless you are going to each dealer shouting at the staff- I paid 1100 and you wanted 15- you suck!!!
then there is not an issue

 

once again- soda knows stuff I am blissfully unaware of- thanks for the heads up-
no more internet extended warranty sales on new cars- I am not thinking about a new TL, so not in my concept of reality
