Warranty clarification!

Hi guys,

I took my car to my friend yesterday and he told me that I need to change some parts in my back suspension (Bushing + link).

Im still on the EXTENDED warranty and I was wondering if there's a list where we can see all the parts covered by this?

This could help people big time!!

Negative. It all depends on what type of warranty you have. Take it into the dealer and have them check your suspension. They should be able to pull up your vin under IN and check the part number to see if it's covered.

If it's not an Acura warranty, it probably has to be called in.

Yes its an Acura Ex Warranty. I'll call my friend to know the parts name and I'll ask my dealer about it, will keep you guys updated.

You're going to have to read the fine print on that extended warranty. Many often exclude coverage for wear items such as suspension bushings. YMMV.

If you're talking about RSB End-Links and Bushings AND you have an after market RSB, forget about warranty coverage.

Good Will if you are VERY Lucky.

Good news is, if those are the items, they are relatiely inexpensive.

Usually with the Acura Care, they will pick up on the "wear items" such as sway bar links, bushings, ball joints, etc.
