I wan't to change my factory tail lights to type-s lights. Does anybody know if you can just change the lens or if you have to change the led and other components as well. I saw that there was a group buy on the forum. How do I get in?

 

you don't have to change the led cluster. the 07' tl-s tails use the same cluster as the 06'tl. easy installation. good luck.

 

you have to change the light assembly ... from what i hear u dont have to change the LED's unless you put on the base 07 tails

 

if ya wanna get in on the g/b just go to hondaacuraworld.com and navigate through the site (TL section) till ya find it

Are you saying that I have to change something on my regular 07 TL to get the 07 TLS lights to work or did I misunderstand you?

 

I think so.. I think it's because the 07 TL-S uses all red like the 04-06s; but the 07 'base' has the white sections... ? can someone confirm ?

 

I thought i read on a thread, that someone installed the stock 07 tl tails on their 04-06 witohout any led modifications, but i have yet to find that thread to confirm this!

 

I don't see why you would bother changing the LED boards, if you use the base '07 Tails. It should be fine.
