the wait is OVER!
Putting a deposit down on a 2005 Anthracite 6MT with Navi...$500
Adding a factory installed full A-Spec Package...$4900
Spending $39500 OTD after waiting 4 weeks for a new Anthracite TL just to join Team Anthracite...Priceless!
Pics are coming as soon as they finish the install...they told me it would take them almost a week for the A-Spec, any thoughts? I figured a couple of days...

Yea, thanks for the reply, yours look great by the way! I felt they wanted too much at the dealer for the chrome rims even though I tried the old "show them ebay" thing. They told me it would be an additional 1200 on top of the A-Spec...I think I'll be ok with gunmetal!

No it came to the dealer all wrapped up with basically every inch covered in plastic and the dealer will install the A-Spec package. My mistake.
I do seem to be having an interesting problem with the wheels though. I wanted the regular alloy ( Silver Sparkle) rims, but they called me today and said they were discontinued! What! Guess where I went after work today. When I get there the dumb fvck parts guy showed me the MDX rims! Then he said the rims I want were 17s not 18s! (Insert more crazy parts guy bullsh!t here...too much to care to explain)
I almost lost it, but there were kids in there, instead I kept my cool and told him parts must not be his specialty(to sum it up). My salesman Tony squared it away afer 45 min and apparently they had the wheels but the MDX rim was in the wrong box. As of now I can't tell you what I will finally see on the ride. The crazy thing is I can't tell if the wheel is the Hyper Black rim or the silver sparkle...I mean I studied that sucker and the parts guy doesn't know of course. It just looks too shiny. Anyway its going on and thats final.
Pics on Wed! posibly tues. night folks!

can they check the part number....
08W18-SEP-200B.....
Modern, high-gloss painted finish.
These are not the same color as any of the other 18" TL rims.
Not a shiny or dark as the "Chrome Look".
Not as much fleck or flatness of the "Sparkle Silver".
Best described as a High-Polish / Light Chrome Look!
08W18-SEP-200C
"Chrome Style" (darker, highly reflective chrome)
08W18-SEP-200D
These are the Silver Sparkle color!
This rim has the same sparkle fleck but are silver, not grey
Hope this helps

I'll call tomorrow...I just checked the thread with the Aspec wheel pics. I'm 90% sure they are hyper black 200B, they looked darker, much darker than I expected for the silver sparkle...I remember him telling me the part number but I was so ticked I can't recall if it was a B or D. They should look sweet on the AM though!

Get the black chrome....200C ...those wheels look awesome with Anthracite colour...I have them on my car.....Jerky has them on his Silver car. I think they are the best A spec wheel. Check out the A spec wheel thread in the wheels/tires section.
