I have had my new TL for about two weeks. This weekend the VSA light started turning on while I was driving. This means that VSA is off. The only way to turn it back on is to reboot the car (Stop and starup again).
I took it in and service said that there were some brake codes in the computer and that they would clear them out. On the way home the light went on again.
Has anyone had similar problems?

good driving conditions, non slick roads, when it's not raining, snowing, sleeting etc. You could operate the car with it off. It's all in the driver. Vehicle stability Assist helps to counter wheel spin on slick surfaces.

I know this is an ancient thread, but did you ever find the problem? I have my VSA light come on often now and stay on. I think it might be a sensor or something and am trying to fix it.
Any help or additional info on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

I havent had this happen to my TL, but my mom's camry, the TRAC OFF light appears as described above. The reason for toyota to turn of the Traction control like this is because there is some other underlying issue with the car. Not necessarily the traction control, but something else. The traction control turns off so it does not engage when it is not supposed to and put you in harms way. (i neglected to mention that both the TRAC OFF light and Check Engine lights are on...and it is an O2 sensor that has gone bad) Maybe this applies to hondas as well.....? Anyways, i hoped this helped, and good luck dude!
