Vsa
Vsa
I have heard that leaving the VSA on when you jump the line hinders you. But what about hard acceleration when you already in motion? Is it advisable to leave the VSA on when you are going 60 and want to punch it to 100, or would it be better to turn it off?
I don't think it'll really matter when you're rolling at 60. VSA will only interfere (i.e. cut throttle and/or apply brake) when you lose traction.
Have it on for safety's sake, though. Shit could go very wrong, very fast.

While I will agree you are safer with it on. I think its marginal in dry weather. Most cars don't have vehicle control systems like VSA and they aren't flying off the road...
To answer the orginal question, it will hinder acceleration when on, specially the 6MT. It is a great thing to have in the rain or snow or on a dirt road, but on smooth dry pavements, it serves little purpose.
