Oh how sweet it is!

Picked up my new 2005 TL with Navi about 3 hours ago now. So far so good, this car is awesome. Granted I am just slightly bias right now, but I have never been this thrilled with a car purchase. This is my first "luxary" sedan and it is great. The navi is awesome, also a first for me. Funny thing, the navi told me a better route to get home from the dealership, I didn't even know about it. I am so happy I purchased this car and I thank everyone for their help in this decision. There are so many things I love with this car, the HIDS are just brillant, I have never seen the roadway illumanated (sp?) like I have driving this car, of course at night

Thanks again everybody.

Hank

One quick note: I thought the Navi DVD would have been updated, it seems like an older version, which kind of ticked me off since I asked the dealer about it. I believe the date was in Nov 2004, unless of course that was the last release???

It gets sweeter.

Congratulations and enjoy your ride.

You can check the navi forum about the DVD version, or post your question there.

God, I remember the feeling... I'm still in disbelief myself that I actually got one..

My first car ever! I've beaten this to death, but I got it 10 days after I got my license (with my own money, so I was very proud of that), so you can imagine just how enamored I was.. x 1000

Thanks for the replies. Exterior color AM, interior color Ebony, the car looks great, I have 42 miles on it. Going to be setting up the XM channels and HFL this afternoon. I also have to set my wife up with memory 2 settings.

Congratulaions on the new ride man...and great choice in color.

P.S. if someone has the ACURA statistics (not the poll up here) of how many AM they have sold, that would be something interesting to see, looks like they have to be in a majority by miles...

Thanks everyone. Thanks for the update on the Navi dvd, I just checked, I do have the latest version, so all is good. I hope the updated DVD isn't anything crazy in price, we shall see. Now I just have to get some good DVD-A's, already have my list

Oops, forgot. My other TL is an '05 Silver/Quartz/5AT/Nav. It's really the wife's car but we do own it jointly.

So I have two of them.

Congrats on your recent purchase. I know and understand the feeling that you have deep down inside b/c i to picked my 05 TL up last Tues. and it's a joy every time i step into that vehicle. Good color choice, even though i went with the best... NBP/Camel w/ Navi. But hey colors vary all the time, however, all of us here are still PROUD owners of the TL!!!

Terrific! Congrats on the ride.

Even after 4+ months and nearly 10K miles, I still get a lot of driving pleasure from my TL. I hope you will find ownership equally sweet.

Congrats and enjoy your new ride.

Whenever I bought a car before, picked it up, I was already thinking about the next one I would be buying. I'v had my TL for almost 8 months and it has not happend yet.

Congrats!

I know that feeling. I've had my TL for 5 weeks and I still love stepping into it. This car costs more than twice what my last car cost.

Just a little update: I have this clicking noise, not a rattle coming from the passenger side door. I think it is the seatbelt adjuster, it isn't always there and it really isn't that bad. I adjusted it one setting above the bottom level and it seems to have gone away. Things are still awesome and I find reasons just to drive, although it has been extremely hot in NY this week, but the AC does a great job cooling off the car.
