Could someone post a DIY on this new harness for the 07-08 TL? I know there are pics for installation of the resistor harness, but how about the relay harness? Where did everyone route and mount the relay harness? Thanks in advance.

 

here's how i did my install.

i routed my drivers side to the passenger side and secured it to the passenger side fan mounting points with zip ties.




i then unbolted the drivers fan and routed the wiring between the fan and radiator, without zip ties.



i didn't mount the relay, i just put it in the area in front of the battery behind the headlight. the relay sits in there with all the rest of wiring.





i also didn't mount the drivers side resistor where they showed it in the v-led pics. i couldn't figure out how they had it so i cut off the side of the aluminum mounting plate that had no holes with a hacksaw and used the bolt that is easily accessable.





i also split a piece of vacuum tube and secured it over the cut edge so the sharp aluminum can't chafe or cut any wiring should the wiring come in contact with it.

it's a great mod, love how bright the 5000k LEDs are.

 

I did the same exact thing. I also mounted up the relay infront of the battery against a support member with a self tapping screw.
