I remember seeing this a while back and the article and have been searching for days to find it and just can't seem to find that test that was done where the Acura TL-S beat them on the track (road course). Does anyone have the links to this or know where it is? I forgot what magazine did it so it's a bit hard to find.

This is regarding the Japanese track road course which the TL-s beat both using the same driver. Nonetheless, some argue that the TL-s had better tires. You can easily search it, I just woke up so I'm too lazy.

Driven by PROFESSIONAL driver Keiichi Tsuchiya TL-S, G35, IS350 were going at Willow Springs, CA race track.

TL-S, and FWD, prevail in this one. The FWD vehicle with less advertised POWER beat both RWD cars FULL 2 seconds.


1. TL-S 6MT - 1:36:67 sec
2. IS350 - 1:38:24
3. G35 6MT - 1:38:67

Thats from Best Motoring. Its probably on American Touge but I highly doubt it I don't remember it being on one of those. Google Best Motoring Acura TL and maybe something will come up.

Not the same test, but you won't probably find the TL Type-S vs G35 vs IS350 just because it was on Road And Track and it is now gone.
