Vibration starting at 60 mph

I have a new TL (6 spd) that has 500 miles on it. I have a vibration that starts around 60 mph and is most noticeable at 75 mph. A rough freeway will mask the detection to a certain extent.

At 250 miles the dealer balanced all four tires. The tires were rotated after balance. I did not witness the balance or rotation. The vibration did not change.

This has me puzzled. The car will pull smoothly up until a little over 60 and I can then feel the vibration. This is under I would guess about 50% acceleration.

I'm ready to call the dealer and ask them to come and get it to check again. BTW the dealer will pick up the car for all service and warranty. It is a 50 mile trip one way to the dealer.

Does anybody have any suggestions or information?

My best suggestion is to get it to the dealer. Its not cold out so it don't think it can be the tires, correct me if I'm wrong. Do you feel the steering wheel shake at all? Do the RPM's look like their slightly going up and down during the vibration? Besides the point get it to the dealer. Good luck and let us know the outcome.

I had similar vibration at 60 mph and my steering wheel would shake as well. the dealer found that front brake rotors were warped. The rotors were resurfaced and the pads replaced and the steering wheel shake has stopped.

I still get a vibration that I can feel on the steering and through the floor between 1800 - 2000 rpms at approx 60 mph.

Suggestions anyone....

I had to have all 4 of my tires replaced twice before it was finally fixed. From what I was told it is something to do with the Bridgestone tires. Now that I am on my 3rd set of tires, I don't have the vibration at 60-75 mph any longer. Good luck...

Mine does it for the first 5-10 minutes each morning. Even tho not cold, once tires heat up I'm good to go. Patiently waiting until these tires wear out and then I will never own another Bridgestone tire again.

Probably flat spotting on the crappy all weather tires (EL-42 turanza POS's) ... I am going to get mine checked out next weekend!

UPDATE

I talked to the dealer today. They will take another look and evaluate replacing the tires. They will be picking the car up next week.

If I can get a different brand of tires I'm open for suggestions from the group.
