I dont know about verizon but I do know that at&t wireles has been sold to cingular wireless so more that likely they will carry the GSM V600. T-Mobile on the other hand will be getting the V600 late march early april and it will be quad band (850, 900, 1800, 1900mhz) it will have bluetooth technology and I love this phone the features are great the camera works better than all other camera phones and this is coming from an avid samsung user. You can purchase the phone right now but it's going to run you upwards of $400+ unlocked. GSM of course. But I would wait untill your selected carrier has them in stock for warranty purposes.

I've been happy with AT&T for the most part for six years, but damm T-Mobile is much cheaper and I keep hearing that Verizon is the best over all.

Actually, it will depend on who can give me canadian service along with my US. I had Canada on my verizon, and I know AT&T has canada. I will have to look into Cingular.

FWIW...
I just saw on www.mobile9.com, that the V600 from AT&T has now been delayed until late April - early May. So if you are waiting on that phone, looks like you will be waiting even longer. Moto and AT&T have really messed up the launch of this phone. At first it was to be out in January, then February, then they said they gave them to Oscar nominees and then didn't, then it was delayed until April and now maybe May. I don't know if the real problem is with Moto or AT&T, but they say it needs more "testing". Too bad, I sure they are loosing customers because of these delays.
I just hope the launch of the V710 for Verizon doesn't go the same route. If it does, it won't be available until Fall. I'm switching to AT&T for now. I have a 1 year contract, so maybe by the time it is up, Verizon will have a decent bluetooth phone.

I'm going to be waiting for the Motorola V600. I have AT&T and I prefer flip phones. I guess another 2 months in the entire scheme of things is worth the wait though I am becoming frustrated.

Original date that was rumored has come and gone. I am reading on phonescoop more like May/June which isn't even that far away. Anybody have more input
P.S. if it has polyophonic ringtone will it also include a normal ringer. Otherwise I will be pissed

Yep, came and gone. I talked to a rep on the phone yesterday who at first said he knew nothing. When I told him about the FCC approving that Motorola phone then he suddenly remembered everything. He said that phone was approved by the FCC mid Feb, but it can take Verizon up to 90 days to do thier own internal testing on the phone. That would jive with the May/June you heard.
