V-leds

Ok so im getting my lights cleared by JnC and Im getting them back in a week. I did some research and i see that that i need switchbacks for my turn signals along with some other adapter so it doesnt blink to much. If i ordered 6000k bulbs what vled would i need. I have a nbp . Please help by listing part numbers so i could order as soon as possible.....

VLEDS sells 2 types of switchbacks:
Type 1 shines white and blinks amber-white-amber.
Type 2 shines white and blinks amber-off-amber.
You will need a set of resistors to prevent hyper-flash.
You don't NEED switchbacks--others have used chromed bulbs with some success.

HI
Let me know how your light turn out. If JnC ever gets back to me I am wanting him to do mine as well.

Are you thinking about putting switch backs in your side markers as well? Seen a few guys have them and it looks sick. Not sure if its the hole side marker that needs change or just the bulbs behind it?

Take care Nighthawk type S

Switchbacks Type-1s are real switchbacks IMO.

For a resistor, get this one:

The 6ohm resistors in that link are fine if you are only replacing the front turn signals. If you also plan on replacing the rears with LED, you can save time by getting the 3ohm units, installing them in the rear and then replacing all 4 bulbs. The 3ohm resistors will prevent hyperflash from all 4 of the LED bulbs.

Man I think I installed the 6 ohm resistors when I did my switchbacks and I was planning on going to an amber LED for the rear turn signal.. I thought the higher the ohm, the more the load it could handle?

I have the V2's but i find my self wanting the V1 better, since they switch to while when blinking, but I heard they have more problems?

No problems with the 48LED Type 1 units, although I did have to replace a bulb that was damaged during shipping, so don't manhandle them or anything.
The 60LED units have proven unreliable, although Autolumination has been investigating. I hope they get the issues resolved. I would like to go 60LED on mine.
V-LEDs specifically lists the 3ohm units as "4 LED Bulb Resistors".
