Upgrades for an 06 6mt w/ 40 miles on it
Hi all,
I just bought a 2006 6 spd and I am having a hard time making a decision on the A-spec package. (I have spent hours on the forum and was hoping to get some direct responses)
A few questions for you all:
1. Does anyone have a picture of the individual pieces included in the A-spec body kit. Other than the spoiler, I can barely notice the difference b/w a standard car and an A-spec car.
2. A-spec suspension: The brochure says 1.2" drop. Many posts list much less of a drop. How much does this affect the ride? Does anyone have an A-spec in S. Florida that would be kind enough to offer me a ride?
3. A spec wheels & tires - They aren't real impressive to me, but since I have the 06 with TPMS is there any other option? How much do rims and tires affect the ride?
I'm really torn on the decision. I want to make it soon so I can get the best $$ for the parts that are removed. I like the look of a dropped car with bigger rims, but I really just drive the car back and forth to work. I don't want to be bouncing around and poppin Advil every time I hit a pothole. I just want the car to look a little different than others. If the ride is improved - great.
Please help!
Thanks

1. big difference in the front and back....the sides aren't really that noticeable..but if you installed them (in which I did) than you would be able to tell the difference, again this is for the sides.
2. I dont have the suspension but the lowest drop I've heard of is .75 (not even a inch)
3. The bigger you go the less cushion there is...but it also has alot to do with the tires as well.

Where do u live in fl? I have the aspec, installed it myself and LOVE IT....you can see the list of mods I have below....I am thinking the UR pulley is next. BTW my wife drives our TL a lot, after the install she calls me after she is getting on i -95 and says who I love the suspension and the CTSB...I just laughed, believe me you will like the aspec suspension, buy it off ebay, and install it yourself.
