Upgrade headlights

Will the headlights from an 07 TL( dual HID) fit on the 06 TL?

Yes, it will. It is not dual HID.

Yes, easy swap. Not a true dual HID, it has bi xenon projectors and DRL lights.

Yes, but make sure you don't put the fogs from the 06 on the 07-08 DRL spot or it will melt the housing.

I've been thinking. Have you every thought of swapping the 04-06 projector mount and foglight bowl to an 07-08 headlight? That should be able to handle the heat then, shouldn't it? I don't think it'd be very practical, but some may want to go that route such as installing and HID kit for DRL's. ( Wouldn't suggest doing so because you may blind on comming traffic)

HID's for DRL's is unnecessary for several reasons. First, you'll probably kill the life of the ballasts/bulbs since they'll automatically fire up every time you turn on the ignition. Second, it's overkill. The point of DRL's is to make your car more noticeable during the DAY, which halogen 9005's do a perfectly good job of. The advantage of HID's is that they illuminate the road at NIGHT better than halogens bulbs. You defeat the purpose of HID's by using them as DRL's...IMO.
