Trying to see if ill keep my 04 front end or have a ABP Type-S front end, want to be different but i dont know... so let me know what ya think...

some people don't like the type-s front lip. i happen to love it. much more aggressive than the base.

but honestly, you can't go wrong either way. they both look nice.

 

such a waste of money. literally no one will notice but you and the aspec lip you have now looks fine. If you want to spend the 1k it is your car.

 

keep your setup as is. i like 04-06 ASPEC front more than the type-s ASPEC.

I agree, keep the 04-06 lip. It looks better imo. Quick question though, will that a-spec lip fit 07-08 Type-s models? I'd like to get it over the type-s a-spec lip.

OP: I highly suggest you upgrade to Type-S grills (lower grills & center grill).

Looks 10x better and gives you some "Type-S" styling.

My car's front end always tells me it's a different kind of Type-S with 04-06 A-Spec lol

 

Just finished helping out shtewps on the weekend doing his accord fogs with type-S grills.

 

Keep what you have, but I like what guitarplayer16 said about the types grills.. it look nice

Swapped my ABP TL plates since NY is ridiculous now chargin almost $300.00 for a 2yr renewal

 

One thing I hate about the 04-06 is the grill is way too small compared to the newer years, I mean the newer ones look so much more classy and bling. I'm just waiting until I get into an accident then i'll upgrade lol.

Type S!!

 

04-06 lip for sure. If you really want fog lights, then go with 07-08 base front bumper and fogs and base a-spec. or just get some accord fogs for the front of the 04-06 bumper

 

I prefer the base a-spec kit over the Type S kit. The Type S kit just look like an aftermarket fighter kit or whatever they call them lol. The base a-spec looks great its not too over done and looks like it is OEM where as the Type S kit looks slapped on and mounts in all sorts of weird places. I have a Type S and certainly wont be getting the a-spec kit for it. I will say it looks decent on white and silver Type S's though. Other colors cant puoll it off.

Now comparing bumpers, the 07-08 front end looks 100 times better than the dated 04-06 front end.

 

The type-s looks aggressive and but its not everyone's cup of tea....it looks awesome from certain angles and dumb from some....

The Base Aspec looks subtle but at the same time very very clean from every angle....

I have the base Aspec front and type-s rear....

 

ABP TL Plates look so much better bro... i just paid 264.50 for my 2year renewal..

 

The Type S gives the TL the goldfish bug-eye looks. It makes the sides of the nose too bulky-you lose the sleek lines of the car.

I must not be in the know here. Other then slight difference in the grille, the grilles mesh, lower grille/strip, and fogs, what's so different about the bumpers?
