Arrow uni chip

hey whats up

who would be intersted in doing a group buy for a uni chip on our 04 tl. cl forum has put together there order and they are getting made soon. ok now who lives in oregon and would be able to stop in and chat with them. most likely the one that goes will get the free chip they make. iwill post the info of the place in a little while. just remember this will guarntee 10-15 hp through out the whole band which is great. It might help us out on the line? so i think we need at least 20 people, the more people we get the cheaper the price is.

This isn't another POS 10ohm resistor in the AIT sender bullsh!t is it? They sure talk a big game but there's no specifics. I'll wait 'till I see someone here post dyno numbers.

Looks interesting. FYI, your link is broken due to a comma at the end of the URL. Editing it out would make it clickable for future readers.

Yeah, I've NEVER heard of these guys. Unless it's a device to flash upgrade the ECU (a la the Shark Injector for BMWs), I don't see how it can work. Is that what it is?

The way they word it on their site it's an interceptor...but I'll believe it when I see it. I had one in my 5-0 (a Crane Interceptor) but it was no plug a play deal and was $550 back in the day.

It's a piggyback system, it alters the signals from the ECU. Greddy E-Manage, Crane Interceptor (I used that back in the Stang days too Skeedatl), AVO Turbo Systems, Hypertech, etc.

I'm game to try it, cause if someone doesn't make something soon... I'm gonna go nuts. While women have an instinctive need to shop clothes, men have it to mod their cars (real men that is).

Heck where's me a JATO unit when I need one?!?!

JATO = Jet Assisted Take-off Unit

I've spoken with Unichip and they are looking for an '04 TL 6MT for development of their chip. They are located in Portland. If anybody has a 6MT and lives there, they may want to help.

no no no no no no...they don't have one made for any 04TL yet...he must be confused about the second gen TL and CL. I'm from the CL.com site and we are in the process of going into production...but we still needed a 6 speed member to go there and get a ecu map made for the cl 6 sdpeed.

You guys w/ the 04tl have a completely different ecu system and you guys need to contact them and tell them that....I'm going to post a link to the cl.com site thread on the unichip and u guys can read up on it thru there.

If the chip can give an extra 50 to 70 lbs of torque and 30 hp with vtech at like 4k 42k I would be happy.... The only thing this car lacks is torque... If you can get that I bet you will have a bunch of people in line to buy...

Just trying to keep this thread alive. I'd be willing to bring in my car if I lived in Oregon.

Vinarnold, if Uni Chip has a location near the SF Bay Area, I'm willing to volunteer my car.

I've heard that Hondata is not interested in this car or any other V6's. There main focus are the 4 bangers.
