i came across this part on advanceautoparts. It says its an exact fit for my 07 type S and would like to know if anybody has purchased this before. The description says it comes with All necessary hardware (Pedestal Gaskets, Washers, Bolts & Locator Strips). I had my spoiler stolen a few years ago and dealer wanted $700 to replace it for some reason which I declined. Any input would be great. Here is the link.

 

It looks like a base lip spoiler, and it would be an exact fit so the website isn't lying about that, but the base spoiler probably isn't what you're looking for.

As to finding a Type-S spoiler, your best bet is to keep an eye out for part outs. The Type-S spoiler is much easier and cheaper to get your hands on these days. I picked one up locally for 100 CAD which is around 75 USD.
EndlessRPM is also coming out with a replica one for an awesome price.

 

Thank you for the response. I ended up purchasing it. After discounts and stuff ended up paying $70 so didnt feel like going around looking for a type S spoiler.

 

The Type-S spoiler is slightly bigger and more contoured vs aspec lip.
