you have to be very carful and specific when ordering fluids for the TL
If you said ATF to a store clerk- they will hand you dextron3 which is for most cars
but NOT for the TL
ATF= Automatic Transmission Fluid-- as a generic term
the correct made by honda for honda/acura is called `ZR-1` auto trans fluid

Yup I jsut read it after blakura said dude look in the manual. I never thought of looking there.
And just to make a note, when im buy fluids especially tranny im getting it from the dealer. Not from some smuck behind the counter of a pep boys. You think im going to trust some bitch kid to tell me important information about my car when he doesnt even understand why hes growing hair on his nutz at the age of 13.
Please I have some level of intelegance there is no need to rant about the difference between ATF and Hondas ZR-1, I understand I need to purchase a specific type
Thank you :-)

Aren't you from NYCmaximas.org? If so hi, I am smx95.
With these transmissions you can do a single drain and fill. The dealership would recommend you do and drain and fill 3x.
You would drain/fill , drive around for 2-3 miles and drain/fill it again.
Best of luck!
