Type S rear Markers on 05 TL
I purchase some Rear Type S Rear markers for my 05 TL so it would blend well with the front. I ordered part # 33655-SEP-A11 and 33650-SEP-A11 and received them last week. When i try to install them i notice that the socket shape is different from the stock one i have. I was wondering if anyone else ran into this problem also. Do anyone have a part number for the correct socket so i can pin out into the correct socket?

the ends are different, however they will fit AND function. They are the same ones myself and many other members have on their cars. No worries, just make sure you keep both plugs aligned straight when push them together.

I just look at the rear marker and the stock socket two minutes ago. I still can't see how it would fit without cutting a small area on the socket itself or the marker. If i force the socket into the side marker It would look like i might break one of the prongs.

I'm looking at the Delray Website and found a part number for the socket for the rear markers that should work. Part # is 04321-SH2-307 and i'm going to order it and find out. I know someone that works at honda so if it don't work i can return it. Only unless someone have done it.

This is what your stock plug harness should look like
I don't have a pic of the type S plug , but its basically just a little wider.
You wont bend the prongs if you're careful to line up the harness and light straight. One of mine went on smoothly and easily, the other one I had to push a little harder to get it to go all the way and light up.

Lots of people have done this modification (including myself) without a problem. Just push a little extra hard and the parts will fit together. Don't stress.

I have an 05, same color even, and just did this mod last weekend.
I actually removed the black and red/black connecters from the existing plastic housing they are currently in and feed them in the newly supplied housing. You need to make sure you put them in the right slots so they connect up properly with the pins inside the side marker. Once you feed them into the new housing you simply snap it into place and connect it to the new connector. No pushing or forcing involved and I know they won't come out now. Just my two cents.

Those aren't oem though, they're just clear with a black housing.

I bought the OEM ones from eBay. I think they were around $100 for the pair.
The plugs were a little different. But like everyone else has said, line up the pins and push hard!
