Type-S Aspec Rubber

Hello,

So I'm bringing my car to the body shop for some touch ups and stuff and my car currently is the ABP colour. I have the type-S aspic kit in the front and that rubber piece which is on the extremity is white for me since they did not have in my colour. I wanted to know if there's something I could do about that.

If you are describing what I think, maybe try something as simple as covering the rubber with some dark colored tape - like electrical tape or some other rubberized tape. Hmm.

It's just annoying for me since I'm ABP and the rubber is white.

Yeah there's two gasket colors light gray, and black which usually fades to a dark gray.

You've got a difficult problem, if your after 'perfection'. Paint or any coating has the possibility of chipping off / losing adhesion. Front lips take a good amount of abuse. Dye is the only thing that would last over time.

Removing the gasket is also an alternative.
