Nope... the ASPEC kit just mounts to ur factory bumper... It's extremely easy! Good luck!

I'm not sure if it'll work with the lower grills being slightly different. I've seen people with type-s' put the base aspec on their front bumper, but I'm not sure I have seen people with an 07-08 base put on the type-s aspec. Not saying it hasnt been done, it probably has, but be aware, there might be some cutting to be done.

base flare up, type-s flare down. Grills are different and have different p/n's

I also read a thread a while back where someone with a type-s said they had to do a complete front bumper swap in order to get the '06 front Aspec lip kit to fit. The front lip on the type-s is not as nice. Apparently the older front will easily fit the type-s and then all you do is install the '06 aspec lip.

I'd like more information on this also if someone can post the original thread or provide more answers. I did some research and people have posted that you can buy a new front bumper for around $350 and I find that quite cheap with a DIY install.

Hope my facts are straight.

how do you get that done with the headlights? i have an 08 NBP type s and probably won't do anything else to it but some blacked or clear lights instead of the orange would look really sick. i looked for them online but couldn't find anything.

Search for member JnC. He does all the custom headlights and does a SICCK job.
