Type-S

I am still shopping out there for a TL that fits my criteria. I had a question relating to the Type S. What are the main difference in the 2006 Type S and the non-Type-S?

Thanks,
Josh

^^ Man, that's cold. He's new, be nice.

Check the Acura Web site and Edmunds.com.

Lots of differnces, some significant, some less so.

TL-S:

- 286 HP v 258
- 3.5L Engine
- Stiffer/Sport Suspension
- Smoked Tail Lights
- Smoked Side Markers
- Navi Std
- Unique (or Ugly depending on what you like) Wheels
- KBP color option
- Brembo 4 Piston Front Caliper/Larger Front Disc Std
- "Upgraded" steering wheel
- Quad Exhaust
- Improved Flow Air Intake (i.e. factory "CAI")
- Improved Flow Exhaust (i.e. factory "Catback")
- Rear Lip Spoiler std
- TL-S "aero" trim (skirts, air dams, etc)
- "Sport" Seats std
- Metal "race" Pedals

Probably others I've missed.

Bottom Line: If you're looking for the "Sport" model out of the box, that's the TL-S. If you're looking for something a bit "softer" or want to mod up, maybe the TL.

LOL ... bearcat .. technically soon7TL is right since there is no type-s in 06 model year, thus no difference ... what you listed are the 07 model year difference and you're right on ....

2006 had no Type S, 2007 they came back. I think you just missed typed. But I think the '08 are on the lots. From what I've read here.

If you got the coin and like a sporty car get the Type-S. I would have if the had it in '06.
